Who We Are POOF Teen Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping middle and high school students prepare for life beyond graduation. Through leadership development, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, travel, community service, and real-world experiences, we empower young people to discover their purpose, build confidence, and create a positive future. Volunteer Opportunity Description POOF Teen Center is seeking college student volunteers to mentor and support youth during our after-school program throughout the Durham Public Schools school year. Volunteers assist with activities, workshops, special events, field trips, and community service projects while helping create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with youth while making a meaningful impact in the community.

OOF Teen Center helps middle and high school students prepare for life beyond graduation by connecting them with knowledge, experiences, and opportunities they may not otherwise have access to. Through interactive programming, mentorship, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership development, college and career readiness, community service, travel, and cultural exposure, we equip young people with the skills and confidence to successfully navigate adulthood. At POOF, we believe school teaches students how to pass tests POOF teaches students how to navigate life.
