Who We Are
New Africa Village, a 501(c)(3) public charity organization, provides services to the underserved and socioeconomically impacted in the community on a local and global level and also organizes fundraising events to provide assistance to those affected by community ills. We envision a community that combines its resources to assure that everyone has equitable means to give them a future by investing in and building a model community, one life at a time. We are a sponsor for a weeklong overnight summer camp with focus in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.)/Environmental Activities including leadership development and character building.
What We Do
New Africa Village is a grassroots nonprofit organization that provides services to help eradicate food insecurity and educational inequality, which disproportionately impact underserved and socioeconomically affected youth in our community. We will serve free nutritious meals during the summer to children ages 1-18 who would go hungry. We will also offer free tutoring services during the school year to K-12 students to help under-resourced youth reach their learning potential and accomplish key educational milestones. Our goal is to feed 30-40 children on a daily basis during the summer and provide tutoring services during the school year to a minimum of 10 students daily in our afterschool program. These programs are essential for reducing hunger and helping build upon students’ academic capabilities and character, both of which improve the quality of life for our youth.
