Who We Are
Just two African American college-educated women who started this nonprofit because of their familial ties to breast cancer. We wanted to create a safe space for black women who fall in the 18-39 age range because statistically, we are left out of the research and often told we are too “young” for breast cancer.
What We Do
In Her Strength is a 501c3 breast cancer nonprofit organization that provides financial and emotional support to African American women ages 18-39 that are affected by breast cancer. Funds raised are used to pay for utility bills, groceries, gas, and rent assistance.
