Grow Your World

Grow Your World is a youth-centered community-building organization. Since our founding in 2019, we have served 2000+ youth, families and college students across North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia, and a few kids from other states too! At Grow Your World, we connect community members through multigenerational and inclusive relationships that build enrichment opportunities for youth and adults alike. ​We envision a vibrant and interconnected community that equitably enriches all of its members socially, emotionally, intellectually, and economically.

Grow Your World offers youth-centered programming that focus on mental health and wellbeing. These programs typically center activities like arts, academic support, and community and career exploration. All programs use mentorship as a tool to help youth grow into their best selves. Our programs run in small ratios, never exceeding 1 staff person to 4 youth. We love working with college students as near-peer mentors for the students we serve (ages 8-19). We pair college students with youth based on each person's interests and identities to create spaces where youth and mentor can grow and learn together.
