Who We Are
Habitat Wake partners with local corporations, individuals, congregations, and community groups to build safe, affordable homes with hardworking families. Since 1985, Habitat Wake has partnered with more than 625 families in Wake County. This year, we have a goal of building 70 new homes and completing 50 home repairs locally and providing funds for the construction of 125 homes globally. The Habitat Wake ReStores are home improvement stores that sell new and used furniture, building materials, appliances and household goods at discounted prices. The ReStores are part of Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, and all proceeds support Habitat Wake’s mission to build safe, affordable homes in partnership with hardworking families. The ReStores also seek to be good stewards of our environment by diverting more than 5,000 tons of usable items from landfills annually.
What We Do
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Since 1985, Habitat Wake has partnered with more than 600 families, donors and volunteers to build safe, affordable, energy-efficient homes in all parts of Wake County.
