Opportunity Description:

Peace Missionary Baptist Church is seeking students from North Carolina Central University to support our Vacation Bible School (VBS) program as part of a community service opportunity, taking place Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

This is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in live production, creative design, and technical support while earning community service/service-learning hours and making a meaningful impact.

Available Roles:

Audio/Visual (A/V) Team

Assist with sound, microphones, and music coordination Support camera operation and livestreaming Manage slides and visual presentations

Set Design Team

Help design and build themed stage and room setups Assist with decorations, props, and visual elements

Tech Support Team

Peace Missionary Baptist Church in Durham is looking to connect with students from North Carolina Central University who are interested in gaining real-world experience in audio, video, and live production.

We are building a dedicated Audio/Visual team and offering students the opportunity to work in a live weekly production environment, supporting sound engineering, camera operation, livestreaming, and visual media.

This opportunity is ideal for students studying:

Mass Communication / Media Studies Music / Audio Engineering Theatre / Technical Production

Students will gain:
