Volunteer: Make A Video Earn Some HoursNCCU FAB Lab in partnership with Communities In Schools is looking for students to produce and develop a Collegiate Pathway Video to encourage at-risk students at Communities In Schools to pursue college and professional degrees. This opportunity is for students to share their journey, experience, and growth to the next generation of HBCU students. Volunteers for this opportunity MUST complete the following to gain community service hours A Collegiate Pathway Video (minimum 3 minutes) A Student Reflection FormA Collegiate Pathway Video should include: A greeting to students and an introduction of yourself (include some fun facts, your favorite team, movie, book, etc.) A brief overview of your major or career pathway. What do you do on a daily basis? What is the story of how you ended up in this major or career pathway? How did high school or middle school prepare for this major or career pathway? What values do you find to be the most essential for students in your major or on your career pathway? What advice would you share with students interested in pursuing your major or your career pathway?Videos can be sent to or shared with the nccufablab@nccu.edu. Each student submitting a pathway video that meets all the above criteria will receive a Student Reflection form.
