Wall Street Juniors and iAmMe Girls bring the Friends of Progress Carnival to Families Moving Forward!
Join us at this fun filled event with financial literacy and self development games and activities carnival style. Volunteers will assist with event operation including but not limited to serving as game attendants, operating concession stands, and engaging with families and children experiencing homelessness.
What You’ll Work On
- Support the work of WSJ on a local level by working to raise awareness in the community of service offerings.
- Assist with operating events for the charity.
- Explore innovative solutions to improve engagement between the service, the local community, and potential supporters.
Your Skills
- Willingness to work within guidelines, policies, standards and mission statements of WSJ.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to cultural/ethnic differences and/or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in stressful environments
- Ability to work in a team and accept guidance and direction from staff members.
- Experience with diverse cultures, languages and situations desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions.
- Has strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to represent the group externally.
