Day 1 — Saturday, September 12, 2026: Community Celebration
Day 1 is the main community event featuring a cookout, live music, a community yard sale, and a full lineup of information and resource stations. Each station will also have dedicated brief time slots on stage throughout the day to share information, engage neighbors, and highlight community resources.
- Community Yard Sale: 8am-12pm (setup at 7am)
- Tree giveaway sponsored by Keep Durham Beautiful 1-3pm @ Shepard Middle School (2401 Dakota St)
- Community Celebration 12-4pm (food, games, DJ)
