A tutor commits to a weekly meeting day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) and chooses the discipline with which they will be most comfortable tutoring.
Before being assigned to a student, any interested volunteer will be invited to the school for a tour and conversation with the volunteer coordinator. Tutors will meet with tutees on campus in a classroom setting, supervised by a staff member of the school. Within a month of starting, tutors will be asked to complete a 2.5 hour safe environment training either in-person or online.
Our students are wonderful young people and this experience will be as rewarding for you as it is for them. That is the goal of our volunteer opportunities!
