Before the Bump: Understanding Preconception and Black Maternal Health

Join BBRI, the NCCU Rural Health Hub, and PPE for an engaging evening on preconception health. This event introduces the preconception period, the time before pregnancy when physical, emotional, social, and environmental factors shape future health outcomes. Participants will learn how everyday choices and structural conditions impact maternal and infant health, especially for Black women and families, and connect with resources that support preconception wellness.
