This program is sponsored by Google Fiber and is known as the "Google Fiber Community Leaders Program." Students provide community outreach by participating in community events and digital outreach activities. Students participate in projects including but not limited to digital literacy for underserved areas in Durham, provide training to local middle schools and survey businesses around NCCU to assist with getting those businesses more online. Students apply and are approved for the program on a year to year basis.
