FMF's Chefs for Change Dinner Series is another excellent way to volunteer with FMF (fmfnc.org/aboutcfc). Our "fine dining with a purpose" fundraising series provides local supporters the opportunity to experience a three-course meal by one of Durham's esteemed chefs and programming throughout the evening to inform, inspire and fundraise for the services and support provided to families experiencing homelessness at FMF. Volunteers help set- up the event space (tables, chairs, place settings, etc.), dinner service (bringing out meals and collecting empty plates), and clean-up -(putting away tables, chairs, linens, sweeping, etc.). It's a unique and fun opportunity for groups to join in with other corporate and community friends who volunteer and enjoy these fabulous dinners.
