Garden is open from the first weekend in March until the weekend before Thanksgiving in November. Available workday shifts for new volunteers: Friday and Saturday each week March through May 9am-12pm June through August 8am-11am September through the weekend before Thanksgiving 9am-12pm Groups are welcome! Volunteer: Winter Coat DistributionJoin Welcome Baby and share gifts of warmth with Durham families. Welcome Baby is seeking a regular volunteer to assist with our Winter Coat Distribution. Volunteers will assist in pulling coats of appropriate size, gender and restocking as needed. Every Friday from 9am-1pm (can be somewhat flexible on times) The opportunity will run through the end of February (depending on Punxsutawney Phil).
