Join Keep Durham Beautiful for a cleanup in East Durham! We will start at Proximity Brewing and work our way out into the community along Driver St, Peabody, Salem, and Angier Ave.

This event is open to individuals ages 8 and up. Participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Please wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes or boots, pants and long sleeves, and bring a reusable water bottle. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Join Keep Durham Beautiful to clean up along South Hoover Rd, a notorious dump site, and inside the Hoover Rd Apartment Complex. We are partnering with NCCU International Affairs & Community Engagement for this event.

This event is open to individuals ages 10 and up. Participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Please wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes or boots, pants and long sleeves, and bring a reusable water bottle. Tools and gloves will be provided.

We will meet at the corner of Boone St and S Hoover Rd, in front of the Hoover Rd Apartments.

Keep Durham Beautiful will be participating in the The Durham Pride parade for the second time. We love the diversity of Durham and are celebrating by walking together in the parade. We're looking forward to you joining us! This year's parade is Saturday, September 27th at 11AM.

Volunteers will walk with a decorated City truck driven by KDB staff and pick up litter from along the parade route. This is a great opportunity for scouts or other groups who want to do service to Durham in a fun and festive way!

Join us on Saturday, Oct 4 from 10AM to 12PM to clean up E Geer St from Cheek Rd to Tobacco Rd, and Cheek Rd from E Geer to Center St. If enough volunteers sign up, we will expand the project area to accomodate.

Volunteers will be split up into at least 3 starting locations for this event, which will be assigned prior to the event.

All supplies will be provided. This event is not recommended for volunteers under the age of 10. Please wear closed-toed shoes that are comfortable for walking, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Pants and long sleeves are strongly recommended. Bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and a small backpack for carrying personal items.

Join us on Friday, September 26 from 3-5PM and/or Saturday, September 27 from 9AM-11AM to remove harmful invasive plants from Sandy Creek Park (3510 Sandy Creek Dr).

Please wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes or boots, pants and long sleeves, and bring a reusable water bottle. Tools and gloves will be provided but we encourage volunteers with their own labeled pruners and saws to bring them along.

Volunteers between the ages of 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult. This event is not recommended for volunteers under the age of 12.
