

Who We Are
The Office of Health Promotion & Education's mission is to enable students to achieve lifelong well-being through healthy behaviors that lead to healthy outcomes and long-term success.
Our goal is to support student success through collaborative partnerships that achieve the following:
- Help our students develop skills to improve their overall well-being
- Engage students in their communities and environments where health and wellness play a part in their everyday success.
- Empower students to see the interconnection between their health and well-being along with their ability to learn, work, enjoy life, and contribute to their community.
What We Do
We offer a variety of programming that fosters healthy lifestyles. We utilize the 8 dimensions of well-being to provide our students with a well-rounded experience that incorporates elements of well-being into their daily life that results in behavior change and generational health. We do the following:
- Cultivate Well-Being and Student Success
- Provide student-centered programs that focus on behavior change and health outcomes:
- Nutrition Education
- Eating Disorders Awareness
- STI Education and Prevention
- Chronic Disease Education (e.g. HBP, IBD, Asthma)
- Substance Use: Education, Prevention, and Treatment Referral
- Resiliency Training
- Stress Management Programs
- Incorporate a community-based approach to programming
- Health Disparities Funding and Research
- Community-wide training sessions
