Durham Parks and Recreation

We are the only municipal recreation department in Durham.  We offer a variety of programs and services throughout the year.  From drop-in programs to child care services, swimming lessons, special events, and canine recreation programs, we have something for everyone. 

Durham Parks and Recreation offers gathering places for families and social groups as well as individuals of all ages and economic statuses, regardless of their ability to pay. Our programs encourage health and wellness, as well as offer recreational opportunities.
