Who We Are
America Reads Program is a national literacy effort seeking to involve college students as volunteer tutors. Students work in community schools and organizations to help young children improve reading skills. This program is geared in helping K-3rd grade students.
What We Do
America Reads is a work-study funded program for those students who qualify for aid or an excellent opportunity for students to volunteer through this program. Students must complete an application with OCES and a free criminal background check https://ec.volunteernow.com/recruiter/index.php?class=VolunteerRegistration&recruiterID=1343 to become eligible for the America Reads program.
