Who We Are
James E. Shepard Memorial Library is the primary library on the campus of North Carolina Central University. We have two additional branches on campus: the Music Library, located in the Fine Arts Building and the Curriculum Materials Center located in the Michaux School of Education.
What We Do
We support the curriculum needs of our campus community. Students, faculty, and staff are able to use the library's online resources (such as electronic journals, databases, books and very select amount of textbooks) from anywhere on campus. These items are available at the Access Services Desk. Students are also able to check out books that will support their class assignments as well as recreational reading materials and DVDs.
