The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
In communities through out North & South Carolina, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs and Chartered Community Centers offer that and more. Our programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow -- all while having fun. Great Futures Start Here at The Salvation Army!
