Four of these departments – Biological and Biomedical Sciences; Chemistry and Biochemistry; Environmental, Earth, and Geospatial Sciences; Mathematics and Physics are housed in the 126,000 square foot Mary Townes Science Building, with the fifth department, Pharmaceutical Sciences housed in the connecting BRITE building.
What We Do
Consistent with the university’s strategic plan and along with efforts at the BBRI and BRITE, NCCU has expanded its infrastructure in the area of science and technology and strengthened its research and training programs with academic units obtaining research grants that support quality research opportunities for our students.
