Who We Are
The ReStore supports building and repairing affordable, sustainable housing in partnership with deserving families that are in need through the sale of new and gently used furniture, appliances, and building materials; while promoting environmentally friendly practices.
What We Do
Volunteer activities are designed to contribute to our daily operations, enhance our store quality, and increase the satisfaction level of our donors and customers. Typical volunteer activities include: processing donations, arranging sales items, performing special projects, cleaning, clerical work and assisting customers. These tasks increase ReStore sales, therefore increasing the amount of money we provide to our Habitat affiliates (Durham County and Orange County), which in turn leads to more homes for deserving families in our local community.
