Greetings Eagles,
The Office of Health Promotion and Education will participate in the White Rock Baptist Church's 156th Church Anniversary. During this Inaugural Healthy Mind, Body, and Spirit event, we will offer healthy produce, nutritional tips, fitness suggestions, and positive messages. In addition, student volunteers will provide health information, direct participants to different stations, and distribute event bags. Our ultimate goal is to encourage our communities to participate in their health actively.
We need volunteers to help set up, provide tabling, and help with clean-up.
Note: To receive service hours, students must do the following:
- Attend the event for 1 hour at a minimum.
- Reflect on how they helped their community make an informed decision about staying healthy.
- Send your reflection to healthpromotions@nccu.edu by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. (extra 2 hours)
Note: This event occurs at White Rock Baptist Church, at 3400 Fayetteville Street. Please check in 15-minutes before your shift starts.
