Students to Scholars — a nonprofit that helps promising middle school students from under-resourced communities access high-quality education — is seeking a Social Media Manager to support our mission.


Role: Social Media Manager (Volunteer)

Reports to: Executive Director

Time Commitment: 4–6 hours per week (flexible schedule)


Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and scheduling engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Collaborating with the Executive Director on campaigns and messaging
  • Showcasing student stories, events, and donor impact
  • Monitoring engagement and tracking basic analytics


Ideal candidate:

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva)
  • Creative, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Passionate about education equity and youth development
