Students to Scholars — a nonprofit that helps promising middle school students from under-resourced communities access high-quality education — is seeking a Social Media Manager to support our mission.
Role: Social Media Manager (Volunteer)
Reports to: Executive Director
Time Commitment: 4–6 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Responsibilities include:
- Creating and scheduling engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Collaborating with the Executive Director on campaigns and messaging
- Showcasing student stories, events, and donor impact
- Monitoring engagement and tracking basic analytics
Ideal candidate:
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva)
- Creative, reliable, and able to work independently
- Passionate about education equity and youth development
