The ReStore uses volunteers to help operate the store on a daily basis.
Volunteer activities are designed to contribute to our daily operations, enhance our store quality, and increase the satisfaction level of our donors and customers. Typical volunteer activities include: processing donations, arranging sales items, performing special projects, cleaning, clerical work and assisting customers. These tasks increase ReStore sales, therefore increasing the amount of money we provide to our Habitat affiliates (Durham County and Orange County), which in turn leads to more homes for deserving families in our local community.
Every day will be different, so we just ask that you come in with an open mind!
