Dear Volunteers,
As part of our celebration of Black History Month, we are excited to invite you to volunteer at WG Pearson by reading to our students. We believe that introducing students to the rich history, culture, and contributions of Black individuals is vital to fostering understanding, empathy, and diversity.
We would be thrilled if you could volunteer to read to our students during this special month. Your participation will not only expose them to the inspiring stories of historical figures but also help spark important discussions on race, equality, and social justice.
We are seeking volunteers to read age-appropriate books that highlight Black history, culture, and achievements. Whether it's a story about a civil rights leader, an artist, a trailblazer in science, or a fictional character, your role in bringing these stories to life will make a meaningful impact.
