Volunteers are needed to assist with the execution of the 2025 Annie Day Shepard Women's Health + Leadership Symposium. The event will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 in the New Student Center located at 511 Nelson Street on the campus of North Carolina Central University. The symposium will be held between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Volunteer shifts will begin at 7am and will close out by 5pm.
DRESS CODE: All black smart business casual. Comfortable shoes are required for potential walking, standing, or moving around.
TIME SLOTS: Volunteers will need to register at the link listed below to select a shift to work.
Volunteers will receive their assigned role no later than one week prior to the event. Volunteers will be assigned to one of the following roles:
- Room Prepper - these people help with setting up the rooms for the presenters
- Registration Attendant - these people help with registering attendees
- Greeter - these people direct people to where they need to go, give directions, and provide other info
- Floater/Trouble Shooter - these people will help address timely needs
- Room Moderator - these people help keep presenters on time and ensure that assessments are completed by attendees.
