The Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center is looking for a mature person to oversee the Student Action Board. SAB is a leadership program for high school students (10-12th) that occurs during the school year. The students elect their officers, run the monthly meetings, and plan the monthly service project.
The advisor is the adult presence that monitors the monthly meetings, works with the officers to develop the program agenda for the school year, and supervises the monthly service projects. Monthly meetings will be held at Yates Baptist Church, Chapel Hill Road, Durham from 6:30-7:30pm. Service projects are done at different nonprofits in Durham, from 8:30am-12pm.
