Black Indians NC is having their very first Powwow on Saturday, September 25 from 10am-5pm at the YMCA in Raleigh.
There will be many opportunities for community service including: Greeting Guests, Registration Table, Bathroom Attendee (Stand outside indoor bathroom space to let dancers change), Set-Up Support - Assist with setting up the powwow before the event (9am-11am), Breakdown Support - Assist with breaking down the powwow after the event (4-6pm), Support to Powwow Dancers, Support to Drum Group, Support to Vendors, and Social Media Support/Media Support.
Transportation will NOT be provided to Raleigh. Volunteers will need to get to Raleigh with their own personal transportation.
