Videographer Intern Description
Join the Purpose Learning Lab, Inc marketing team as video production intern and put your creative talents to work in multiple areas of the video production process. As the video production intern, you will exercise your creative skills & multitasking abilities as you assist in developing ideas, filming pieces, and editing takes. Tasks required include, but are not limited to, handling the lighting, conducting research, as well as working with the marketing team to create fresh content for the Furnitureland South website and various social media platforms.

- Assist in developing relevant stories for our brands, as well as stories that will be used for in-house purposes
- Research topics using a variety of sources, including video archives, the internet, library archives and others as needed.
- Communicate with the marketing team, as well as all individuals involved in the video shoots to ensure a smooth running of the project.
- Assist in the production and editing of video content that adhere to company guidelines and standards to share on online channels, including social media and YouTube.
- Provide assistance as needed in all components of the production, including sound, lighting, camera, editing and postproduction.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- Must be enrolled in a four-year college/university, preferably, but not limited to the status of a rising senior at the time of the internship or an individual enrolled in a two-year college with at least one year of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere/After Affects
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience with Cannon fil equipment. Specifically, C100/C300 models

Bonus Skills We Look For:
- Experience using Adobe After Effects (e.g., motion graphics, masking/keying, rotoscoping, wire removal, etc.)
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
- Experience using gimbals and/or Sony Alpha cameras
- Any level of experience creating product videos or working with talent (e.g., models)
- Understanding of basic marketing and advertising principles, especially those related to digital marketing and social media
- Understanding of consumer psychology and/or direct response copywriting
- Experience working with project management software such as Trello, Monday, Asana, or ClickUp
