Are you interested in arts entrepreneurship, education, and/or empowering the hearts of youth in Durham County? Dance instructors teach various styles of dance including ballroom, jazz, or tango. They choreograph performances and select music for dance recitals or concerts. They may give lessons to large groups or individuals. In addition, they evaluate their students and give suggestions for improvement.
PLL Dance Instructor Job Overview
In the dance instructor role, you will teach students about dance styles and techniques, and create lesson plans that enhance the esteem of girls. A key element of this position is to remain patient when teaching students. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the overall performance of your students, as well as their willingness to continue pursuing dance.

This entry-level position is a great way to see how we setting a new pace for dance education, movement and youth.
We are specifically looking for people that are:

- prioritize consistency with a drive for excellence
- comfortable communicating with all ages through all mediums (in-person, on the phone, and via email/ digital formats)
- understanding of systems and protocols
- creative and kind
- enthusiastic and fun
- available the following times starting September 1, 2022 with a willingness to remain available through early June 2023: Thursday 4:00-6:00pm (there are scheduled breaks for Labor Day Weekend, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter Break, MLK, Jr Day, Spring Break, and Memorial Day).
