Carolina Meadows is a nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community. Our mission is to enrich and improve the lives of residents and those connected to our community. YOU can brighten an older adult’s day by helping us set up for an outside Carnival event for them to enjoy (think dunking booth, fair food, petting zoo, games & prizes)! If you are pursuing Nursing, Hospitality, Medicine, Social Work (and the list goes on) consider volunteering to help set up this event so that they can act like kids again - especially after the social isolation we all experienced due to COVID-19.
AVAILABLE SHIFT: Day of event, Thursday, September 22 – 1-5:30 pm – booth runners and event clean up – group of 5 students needed with the ability to lift and move boxes, chairs, tables (up to 25 pounds), etc. are needed. Tennis shoes required.
REQUIREMENTS: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and flu shot must be emailed to eferrell@carolinameadows.net when you email to express an interest in volunteering. Medical/surgical or KN95 masks will be required when/if indoors.
