Communities in Partnership (CIP) formed in 2011 and functions as a vehicle to give voice to local residents and hold officials and agencies accountable. Among our programs is the food sovereignty initiative, which is a part of a larger effort in our work to address the injustices of systemic racism in the food system. Our monthly Farmer's Market is owned and run by community members, providing access to local produce from Black, Brown, and Indigenous farmers. There will be vendors as well, if you know someone interested in vending please reach out to Khyla@cipoed.org or Jade@cipoed.org (Jade habla espanol).
