Do you have what it takes to be a Financial Behaviorist? Learn, teach and explore behavioral economics with us.
We are looking for Financial Behaviorist (FB) to help us teach positive financial behaviors including budgeting, maintain and understanding credit, spending behaviors, creating an emergency savings plan, and more. All FBs are trained and provided with materials needed to teach sessions. You can learn and improve your own financial literacy skills while teaching them others!
Each session is 2-hours twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) on a bi-weekly schedule. One hour consist of financial literacy education including understanding credit, personal finance strategies, budgeting and much more. The other hour is dedicated to community mental health, mentorship, and community-led capacity building. All educators are trained and provided with weekly lesson plans.
Financial Behaviorist/Outreach Educators are responsible for, but is not limited to:
- Teaching and assisting various with activities
- Providing support academically, emotionally, and socially.
- Monitoring academic success.
