The Students to Scholars Board of Directors is looking for people with diverse talents to serve on a board committee where their ideas, participation, engagement, contributions, advice, and input will be immensely valued. The board committees include the following: Governance (addressing legal questions, strategic planning, board recruitment); Finance & Fundraising; Special Events, and Programs (to develop new programs and review existing programs).
Board committees meet virtually once a month during the work week (Monday-Friday) for an hour.
This volunteer position is an academic year-long commitment from September through May.
The work is completely remote and no transportation is required.
We are looking for volunteers with a passion for education, equity in education, and making a positive change in the lives of students from historically under-resourced and marginalized communities.
