Description
Wall Street Juniors, Inc is a community-based organization geared towards teaching financial literacy to increase promotion of generational wealth. We are hosting a summer camp program for students 6-18 at Weaver Street Recreation Center 6/23-6/25. On June 25th (2pm-5pm) our Entrepreneurs Exploration Camp will host a Community Pop-up Shop & Showcase event to celebrate the end of their program.
We are seeking Volunteers for our three-day event!
Day 1: Field Trip to American Underground
Day 2: Day of Creation at Weaver Street Recreation Center
Day 3: Community Pop-up Shop and Showcase
What You’ll Work On
- Support the work of WSJ on a local level by working to raise awareness in the community of service offerings.
- Assist with day of event task.
Your Skills
- Willingness to work within guidelines, policies, standards and mission statements of WSJ.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to cultural/ethnic differences and/or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in stressful environments
- Ability to work in a team and accept guidance and direction from staff members.
- Experience with diverse cultures, languages and situations desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions.
- Has strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to represent the group externally.
