The Department of Public Health Education is asking all NCCU students, staff and faculty, along with the community to donate blood at the Spring Eagle Pride Blood Drive taking place on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm in the New Student Center Rooms 2321 and 2322.

To have a successful donation, bring a photo ID, drink plenty of water, avoid tea and caffeinated drinks. Also, make sure you eat iron-rich foods such as lean meats, whole grains, and leafy green vegetables along with vitamin C-rich foods such as citrus fruit.
For additional community engagement credits, come out and join the bone marrow and/or organ donor registry and get education about sickle cell disease and donating cord blood and bring a friend to donate.
