Festival-like celebration of sustainable transportation hosted by the nonprofit, Bike Durham at the Golden Belt Campus. Look forward to a family friendly event with a 1.5 mile walk, and 5 mile and 10 mile rides starting at 2:30pm from Golden Belt and returning to campus for the festivities. The rides and walk will include stops along the way to take mini advocacy actions in support of sustainable transportation! Children's bike safety course, mini education classes, test an ebike, visit with partners advocating for sustainable transportation, hop on Durham's Electric Bus, be entered in free drawings or participate in a raffle! Enjoy discounts from the food establishments at Golden Belt and dance on the lawn to music from the local band Simple Joy.
