The Revive Black Mental Health Conference aims to energize and empower black mental health providers and influencers to take proactive steps in the community to eliminate myths and stigmas surrounding mental health in the black community. Our primary objective is to establish a robust network of black therapists who can provide essential and accessible mental health services to those in need.
1. Event Setup (7:30 am): Be the architects of magic! 6 volunteers are needed to jazz up the venue - think moving chairs, unleashing creativity at the paint station, and setting up the registration table.
2. Registration Rendezvous (8:30 am): Be the welcoming committee! 3 volunteers will be the friendly faces, ensuring everyone feels the warm embrace of the conference from the get-go.
3. Guides of Glory (8:30 am): Be the navigators! 2 volunteers will be the navigational stars, guiding guests from the parking deck to the heart of the conference and everywhere in between.
4. Breakfast Bliss (8:30 am): Be the culinary maestros! 2 volunteers are needed to tantalize taste buds and then guide attendees to a zen oasis with our on-site volunteer massage therapist.
5. Media Mavericks (9:30 am): Be the storytellers! 2 volunteers will capture the vibrant tales of participants on camera, creating a legacy of inspiration.
7. Speed Debrief Dynamos (12 pm): Setup the rapid-fire debrief session at noon
8. Event Teardown Tribe (3 pm): Be the cleanup squad! 3 volunteers will help wrap up the day, ensuring the echoes of the conference linger long after.
