Join Keep Durham Beautiful for a day of service as a tribute to those killed and injured on 9/11, and to the many brave individuals who responded in service. We will separate into 3-4 groups to pick up litter from along Cheek Rd and E Geer St. Volunteers should expect to walk about one mile in total.
Please wear PANTS and sturdy, CLOSED TOED shoes or boots. NO shorts, NO sandals or crocs. Dress for the weather, including a hat, and bring your own water bottle to help us reduce waste at our events.
We will email you the day before the event with further details. Volunteers MUST sign-in on the physical waiver form on the day of the event in order for us to confirm their service hours.
