Student Volunteer Opportunity – Make an Impact This Friday!
We’re excited to invite student volunteers to support our upcoming Youth Symposium this Friday at Hubbard-Totten Auditorium at North Carolina Central University!
Date: Friday, April 17
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (event begins at 10:00 AM)
This is a powerful, youth-centered event where young leaders will present their work and engage with policymakers, elected officials, and community members around solutions to gun violence in our community.
We’re looking for enthusiastic student volunteers to help us bring this event to life! You can sign up for a shift that works best for you:
✨ Volunteer Roles:
- Setup Crew (9:00 AM – 11:30 AM) – Help us prepare the space and get everything ready
- Lunch Support (11:00 AM – 1:30 PM) – Assist with serving meals and supporting guests
- Breakdown Team (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM) – Help us wrap up and reset the space
Students are welcome to sign up for one shift or stay for the full experience—we’re happy to accommodate your availability! This is a great opportunity to earn service hours, build community, and be part of something meaningful that uplifts youth voice and leadership.
