Join in a morning of service activities on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon. It marks the observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service at NC Central University. This national holiday as "a day of service" celebrates the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This event will be hosted at the LeRoy T. Walker Recreation and Sports Complex with the doors opening at 9:30 a.m. Earn 10 community service hours.

Plan to participate in a service activity to support youth education and homelessness in the Durham community.
Plan to fundraise or donate five dollars ($5) to support food initiatives at: https://24282.thankyou4caring.org/vlb-donation. Please select the designation of First Lady Walk. If you fundraise the money, please have the donor(s) to specify your name so you can receive the credit.
