The Durham CROP Hunger Walk is scheduled for Sunday, April 10. Volunteers are needed to assist with the walker education programs that are offered in the hour prior to the Walk starting.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the JB Duke statue in front of Duke Chapel at 1:00 p.m. for instructions, then participate in the educational activities from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., after which they will be free to leave or to stay and participate in the Walk. They will be asked to work at tables or to make brief presentations to groups of the walkers. Materials and training are provided. These are fun activities that NCCU students have enjoyed in the past.
If you are planning to participate in the CROP Hunger Walk, plan to arrive early and earn additional hours by making brief educational presentations to walkers gathering before the Walk. You will be provided the training and materials when they get to the Walk.
Additional instructions and parking information will be provided for participation with this opportunity.
